Works great!

UPDATE: preview of attachments is working again. Perhaps the problem was with my CHROME browser. Everything is working perfectly again. I really like this app. I have been using it for quite a while. Unfortunately, the preview of attachments no longer works. When I go to try to view an attachment that I received or sent I can no longer view the file without downloading. The preview function does not work. It just displays an icon that says: loading… This renders this app useless to me. Hoping support will get back to me. For now I am back to using the browser interface.

Used to be great

Last update got rid of the expired browser message but now it seems brain dead, just randomly reports one of the couple of unread emails in my inbox as just arrived. Sometimes it does this every minute until I get tired of it and quit the application. Maybe headed to uninstalled land soon. After the latest update (7.5) and it’s still daft, as it randomly reports one of the couple of unread emails in my inbox as just arrived. OK I give up, its getting deleted. 7.5 is just as bad with constant notifies of already received gmail.

It’s OK, the nag is annoying

I use it for the notifications, nothing else. It bugs me that every time the app updates I have to dismiss a little popup advertising the developers’ other apps, which I have no interest in.

Super helpful and minimal

I’ve been using MailTab Pro for over a year and I find it useful as a minimal mail application so that I don’t have to have a browser open at all times. I appreciate that clicking on the icon in the toolbar instantly brings up the MailTab window, and that if I click out it disappears and will reappear immediately upon selecting the icon again. Perfect for short messages and quick email cheks. It’s worth well more than $2. Thanks to the developers for this quick application!

Works great in El Capitan

When I first installed the PB for El Capitan, MailTabPro did not work as expected. Support had me delete com.fiplab.mailtabpro in Containers and I got MTP back. I had really missed my quick access to my Gmail account.

Ads even with pro version?

I’m not sure why I spent $1.99 on the pro version if I still have to deal with annoying ads. For reference, I paid for the pro version directly from the app store, and did not upgrade from free. I never had the free version to begin with, so I’m not sure what the difference is. This app is a bait and switch, and I do not recommend paying for “pro” features. The idea is nice, but I prefer not to be ripped off.

Very Good App

I like the app & have used for a while now. However, is there a setting (or can you create a preference) where it is used as the default email client?? That would get it to 5 stars!! Thx

Serious memory hog

For what it is, this thing uses an insane amount of memory. I’m guessing there’s a memory leak somewhere, but it causes my laptops fans to go full speed everytime I open it up, and memory usage for it is close to 1gb (it goes up the more you use it).

Memory consumption too high!

Please fix the high memory footprint issue! Otherwise, it is a very reasonable Gmail client.

MailTab Pro it’s not working on “El Capitan”.

MailTab Pro it’s not working on the last update of Mac “El Capitan” the worst update ever, for both.

To Freeze or not to Freeze.. Issues with App and new OSX

This app use to be pretty good but in the latest OSX release especially El Captian it constantly freezes. Most of the time unusable. Probably a combination of the app and the OSX version.

Excellent App

I have tried many Mail apps over time but in my opinion this is the best. Simple and efficient it allows you to quickly read and manage your email with little to no fuss. I am a happy customer!

Works exactly as I hoped

I was only looking for a simple app to let me see my gmail and this works perfectly. It is unobtrusive, yet always instantly available, which is what I need. Setup was a breeze and after a week of use I haven’t had a single problem. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a simple gmail app. I haven’t tried using multiple accounts yet, but I expect that will be easy as well.

Horrible

Ok so there is another version which I liked and I payed for the 2.99 “unlock everything” upgrade. Unfortuantely it didnt unlock anything so I purchased each one separately. Still didnt work so I decided to buy this version which I thought was the direct upgraded version. Unfortunately it looks like the regular gmail, web-based interface which is NOT what I wanted. A day later all the charges appeared which was about 8.00. You guys really need to clean-up and be more specific with what you are selling on the AppStore. Ridiculous and unacceptable !
